item 2.
The Committee's Recommendations.
a. It is essential to have a central database. Note: Subject to the Chairman's decision this might be controlled by Oxford or London.
b. That the membership annual subscription be £10, it would be desirable for this to be paid by Standing Order. This would entitle members entry to the Annual Reunion. Those non members of the association attending the Annual Reunion would also be charged £10.
c. The membership fee would also cover the cost of 'Mail Shots' and postage to members. Considered necessary to let members know what is going on.
d. Life membership to be £200.
e. Those existing Life members who had paid £100 should be still considered as such.
f. The Committee recommends that ail income from Life Membership, be invested.
g. The Bugle (The Rifles bi-annual journal) estimated at £6.25 a copy. This is being run centrally from HQ The Rifles, those requiring a copy will be expected to order and pay individually to HO The Rifles.
h. The RGJA Rules be amended to reflect ail the above proposals, also the deletion of'annual membership fee of £S provides for free entrance to the reunion and an annual newsletter'.
